PROTOCOLS

Burning Kiln Winery is committed to the health and safety of all our patrons and appreciate your continued support and patience as we move through the Reopening Ontario Act. We will continue to follow the rules and regulations as issued by the Government of Ontario.

 

Effective September 22, 2021,

The Province of Ontario WILL REQUIRE proof of vaccination against COVID-19 for:

  • Indoor tours, tastings, and events.

 

Proof of vaccination WILL NOT BE REQUIRED for the following purposes:

  • Dining at Canned Heat’s outdoor patio;

  • Outdoor wine tours and tastings (outdoor tastings are not guaranteed to be available and will be subject to weather conditions);

  • Outdoor events, including weddings and Concerts in the Vineyard;

  • To use a washroom;

  • To make a retail purchase;

  • While paying for or picking up an order.

 

Proof of Vaccination

For purposes in which proof of vaccination is required, patrons must show proof of identification and proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before you can enter the area.

 

Proof of Vaccination - If you do not have your vaccine receipts you can download your proof of vaccination through the COVID-19 vaccination provincial portal.

Proof of Identification – Validation of vaccination will be based on two key identifiers.

  1. Name of the identification holder; and

  2. Date of birth.

 

Valid identification documents include:

  • Birth certificate

  • Citizenship card

  • Driver’s license

  • Government (Ontario or other) issued identification card, including health card

  • Indian Status Card/Indigenous Membership Card

  • Passport

  • Permanent Resident card

 

An individual is considered fully vaccinated if they have received:

  • The full series of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized by Health Canada, or any combination of such vaccines, or

  • One or two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine not authorized by Health Canada, followed by one dose of a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine authorized by Health Canada, or

  • Three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine not authorized by Health Canada; and

  • They received their final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before providing the proof of being fully vaccinated.
