The repertoire of this open-minded, creative and inventive design team includes a wide range of projects by both size and building type, from elegant, high-end custom residential to commercial, institutional, and industrial endeavors.

Founded on the philosophy that every project, large or small, is unique and special, William J. Krohn, a r c h i t e c t operates with the strong belief that the key to the successful realization of a project lies in good communication and meaningful collaboration. The principal of the practice, William Krohn, applies his extensive expertise to managing balanced solutions dictated by a project's design needs and aspirations.

William's 30 years of experience in all sectors of architectural design means that he brings a vast number of building ideas to the projects that he undertakes. He sees every project as a unique challenge. Having found desirable solutions to a wide range of building types, this experience provides him with a broad perspective, enabling him to see the benefits of design aesthetics and functionality for every user groups. His ability to listen to and implement customers' needs have helped make him a much sought after architect by long-established, top-shelf international companies, such as Miele and Rimowa, and "home-grown", cutting edge endeavors such as Long Point Eco-Adventures or Burning Kiln Winery alike.

William is a graduate of the world renowned University of Waterloo where he achieved both Bachelor of Environmental Studies and Bachelor of Architecture degrees. A professional licensee of the Ontario Association of Architects and member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, William takes a hands-on approach to all commissions garnered by his "boutique" practice. Stemming from his exposure to studies in such diverse locations as Vancouver, Rome, as well as valuable experience gained in the office of the 'Heinle, Wischer und Partner' in Stuttgart, Germany in the early years of his career, William uses his world class talents to serve valued customers with a versatile and imaginative attitude.
